We are starting to gear up for birthday time here at the Crazy Kings. Em's birthday is in August and Lu's is in September. Here is the invitation to Em's ELMO Birthday party. It will be mainly family but still wanted to send out cute invites. I used stiff felt and will back with card stock. The details will be on the back. I found a super cute Elmo party at Everyday Celebrating. I will be getting a lot of ideas from there. Love the Elmo Oreos. Simple but cute. I have a great favor box craft. Stayed tuned!
By the way, guess where we are going in a few weeks...Sesame Place! Em will be in Elmo heaven! ABC & 123 are hosting a Favorite Vacation Picnic Talk this week. I bet this will go down as a favorite vacation for Emme! My favorite and Lu's is DISNEY! Em was still a baby and won't remember it. Actually...the cruise was our favorite. Lu loved the park but it was almost a little overwhelming. The Disney cruise was much more relaxing. Less traipsing around but with a ton of activities. Plus great service. When I tell you how attentive they were to Lulu's food allergies you will be amazed. At every meal the chef would come out to talk to me about what was on the menu and what he or she could do to alter it for Lu's allergies! By the end of our stay I was hugging the head waiter who we just loved! When ever she saw us she would go and get the chef and would check back with us throughout our meal. They even bought rice milk ice cream for Lu when we stopped in the Bahamas! I have never experienced such excellent service and attention (...other than my honeymoon.) Sadly my camera landed in the ocean during that trip! So boo hoo...we'll just have to go again!
So cute!!!
ReplyDeleteYou'll have to post about Sesame Place. Disney is our favorite too:-)!
ReplyDeleteDo tell about your trip to Sesame Place this time when you go. We have been thinking about taking the kids, but weren't sure how a 3yo and a 18mo would do with all the stuff there. BTW, did you make it down to VA? Hope you are all well, and enjoying your summer! Abbie
ReplyDeleteMy little on just found out who Elmo is....
ReplyDeletecute invites. A disney cruise sounds so relaxing. Have fun in sesame place!
ReplyDeleteDisney is just super! I have yet to find one flaw. I am amazed at their attentiveness to everything.
ReplyDeleteThose Elmo invites are very cute, I look forward to reading about the rest of the party! I'm also really curious to hear how your Sesame Place trip goes, we're thinking of taking our kids there in a year or so.
ReplyDeleteanother camera lost to the ocean.... That ocean has many a hat and sunglasses from us!
ReplyDeleteSooo cute! My friend had an Elmo party and made the same Elmo, but bigger. She glued two of them together except for the tops and added a handle- for favor bags. Loved them! Haven't thought of them until now though!
ReplyDeleteBobbi you're on to me! My favor/ take home treat sounds similar but with a twist!
ReplyDeleteI'll definitely post about our trip!
The cruise sounds awesome! My daughter has tree nut allergies, so it's nice to hear of places that understand that.
ReplyDeleteBummer about your camera though :(
Have fun at Sesame Place!
I"m eagerly looking forward to a few years when all 3 of my kids are old enough to do the Disney cruise!
ReplyDeleteCute invitations!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great time at Sesame Street Place-we've thought about going there. Enjoy!!
Where is Sesame Place? I bet my kids would really enjoy that. Have fun!!
ReplyDeleteSesame Place is in Pennsylvania outside of Philadelphia close to Hershey. 100 Sesame Rd. Langhorne, PA 19047
ReplyDeleteAs far as I know it is a water park and amusement park geared towards little kiddies. All the rides are toddler friendly. Plus there is a parade/show and characters walking around.

Cute invitations! I would love to do the Disney cruise...maybe in the next few years.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute idea for an invite.
ReplyDeleteSorry about losing the camera to the ocean. I think I would be devastated because we love to take pictures.
Damn that ocean and its diet of cameras, hats, and wallets! ((shaking my fist))
ReplyDeleteI am loving those Elmo invites! For Emily's 1st birthday party, I invited mostly family as well, and went all out making handmade ladybug invitations..... **sigh** That seems like so long ago now!
Have fun at Sesame Place!! I'm sure the girls will have a blast there! :-)
I have never heard of Sesame Place. It sounds like fun. It seems like you have had some really great vacations already. Cute Elmo invites, too.
ReplyDeleteYour Elmo invites look super cute! I don't think I will ever convince my husband to go on Disney cruise. But the cruise lines we traveled with were also great at keeping kids entertained and safe. I certainly hope that our finances will allow us to go cruising again when Anna is a little older. I have never heard of Sesame Place - where is it?
