I think so too, we caught one this weekend (then let it go) and I called it a katydid since the girls expect me to know these things! : )

That's so cool! Well, it's cool when they are outside, not so cool when you find them in the house! Eeeckk! ;-)
It's a katydid for sure. We had one here the other month at the same time as we had an insect book from the library with a picture of one. Bear was pretty excited to see her insect in her book!
