Oh no! Emma did this about a year ago, sitting right across the table from me. I was feeding Johnny breakfast, and she started saying that he needed a haircut. I looked up to see her chopping away at her own hair...
OMG, Em is on the same wavelength with my Bailey. Apparently, she decided last Friday in school that she wanted to have bangs. She honestly did a decent job (perhaps a career calling?). When I wrote a note to her teacher after the weekend to keep an extra eye on her when using the scissors, she told me that yep, they had found her clippings in their cutting box. BTW, I don't think I've told you before that Bailey named one of her little stuffed puppy's Lulu, and your blog is the only place she's heard it before.
my mother still tells the story about me cutting my hear. I was four and before I started it was hanging over my butt as I finished it looked a lot like your little one. that`s the good thing about my boys they already have short hair.
Em's got the hang of those safety scissors down pat. But, as a mum, I know you ask yourself, Why? Why her hair? Before you know it, Em's locks will grow back.
What a super preschool teacher to make that awesome dream catcher. I know if any of my children ever have bad dreams in our house we will be making one of these too.
Yowsers. My E did this a few months ago. The stars were aligned though because she did it the day after school pictures.. and she also used safety sissors while I was putting her little brother down for a nap.
Good times.
Our hairdresser did a pretty good job fixing it and I think I'm over it now.. :D

oh goodness!!! well a rite of passage? And you have done a great job teaching her cutting skills! My children still have trouble in cutting with scissors.... :) *It will grow...*

Oh NO!!! I totally feel your pain, we had to deal with bald patches here too. Only ours were because she pulled and twirled it all out.
