Mommy Brain or Why I need A Vacation

Can you tell I have a sick 4 year old, a demanding 2 year old, a messy house, a deadline for Grown In My Heart...and yes...Mommy Brain. For all you wondering, no, you do not refrigerate Mod Podge. Guess how long I looked for it, thinking I had gone insane, before I discovered it hanging out with the yogurt and realizing I had in fact gone insane?

Can you relate?

  1. I definitely relate! Although it's usually the Nutella I find in the fridge (which you aren't meant to refrigerate either). I lose plenty of other things by "putting them away" in odd places around the house that apparently seemed entirely logical at the time...

  2. I'm SO there with you! At least you can be sure that the Mod-Podge won't go bad...

  3. I do stuff like this all the time! Crazy how your brain goes once you have kids. I hope your little ones feel better

  4. HA-HA I have done things like that many times. Like looking for my car keyes like crazy and destroying the house as I do so only to find them in my back pocket. It's funny how your brain forgets. I can't imagine going back to work as a nurse.

  5. If I had a dollar for everytime I found something in the wrong place...or even just in the refrigerator...I'd be rich. I recently found my cell phone in there! :P

  6. I can totally relate. I've done that so many times. When I was pregnant, I put the jug of milk in the cup cupboard.

  7. Oh my goodness, I can totally relate... I have to really concentrate when the baby is screaming and I'm dealing with a hot oven or cutting something, so I don't hurt myself.
I once saw a tired mommy pour croutons into her glass of coke. The thing was- I was so tired that I thought something looked strange and not right, but I couldn't figure out what was wrong with the picture for quite some time...

  9. This is funny. At first I saw the picture and thought oh you can put it in the fridge too. Then I read on. I do things like this all of the time. Funny. I hope the girls get better.

  10. awww! I just had to smile, and pop in to say hello. I am sorry to hear that you are so hectic over there! I was there last week, when I almost went insane cleaning up poop from various surfaces 4 times in 3 days. But the Korean saying is that if you dream of poop that you will come into money. Even though it was a real-life poop event, I found $200 in my basement! Have hope...maybe you will find another long lost belonging in your fridge right next to your mod-podge. :) Best, Abbie

  12. I can certainly relate - all too well. I put things that are meant to be in the pantry in the fridge and have been known to even put them in the dishwasher. Now, when I can't find something I start the search in the fridge, it's a safe bet i'll find it there!

  16. Hilarious! I can relate but only it's with the grown up man I married who then has the nerve to accuse me of hiding his lost items!

  17. I'm pretty sure I've tried to put the milk in the cabinet and bread in the fridge before.

Sounds like you need a break!
