End of School Party Favor

It all started innocently enough. I saw a tube of 10 glow stick bracelets in the $1 zone at Target. It turned into this. I wasn't planning on doing something so involved but I needed a package that was stiff enough to hold the glow stick (they activate if bent.) Needless to say I wanted to kick myself after I started cutting and scoring them. Once I got the hang of it, the assembly went pretty quickly.

I designed these quickly in Illustrator. You could decorate the outside of the packets more. A glittery star cut out or foil sticker...

Each packet contains:
$2 for 20 glow sticks
$2 for 16 erasers
$3 for 20 glow in the dark stars
$1 for 15 mini pack of twizzlers
Total $8 for the whole project! Not bad.

I used this glue pen to assemble the packets. I like that it is not messy, dries quickly and is a permanent bond.
